With the support of “Madonna House Missions Canada,” we implemented a sheep fostering project for rural poor women in Kadiri mandal of Anantapur District. We distributed sheep to 20 poor women who had lost their daily wage labour works and jobs. This income-generating program has been very helpful in eradicating poverty among these rural and tribal poor disadvantaged women and their family members through sheep rearing.
