With the generous support of Conferenza Episcopale Italiana, Italy, we successfully implemented a carpentry skill training program aimed at empowering 50 economically disadvantaged Dalit carpenters.

The training equipped participants with advanced carpentry techniques, enabling them to produce high-quality furniture and wood products. Upon completion, each participant received capital investment to establish or expand their own carpentry businesses.

This initiative has not only provided a sustainable source of income but has also significantly improved the living standards of their families. The program has fostered self-reliance, helping participants to break free from the cycle of poverty and contribute positively to their local economies.

Through such initiatives, HWA continues to create opportunities for marginalized communities, building a pathway toward financial independence and a brighter future.
