Our ‘Health Welfare Association’, with the generous support of ‘The Guirdham Trust of India and United Kingdom,’ successfully implemented a bamboo basket-making program for poor tribal women in the Royal Tribal Colony of Kadiri Mandal, Anantapur District. This initiative aimed to improve the livelihoods of 30 tribal women by providing them with a sustainable income source through the production and sale of Bamboo Baskets. The program focused on empowering these women by teaching them the skills and techniques required to craft high-quality bamboo products. With the support of our partners, we were able to provide the necessary resources and training to ensure the success of this project.

The outcome was a significant improvement in the economic stability of these women, enabling them to break free from poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
