With the support of ‘Paroisse Catholique Romaine de Bienne et environs, Switzerland,’ our mission to empower marginalized communities reached a milestone in 2022-2023 by providing extensive training to 20 tribal women in bamboo basket weaving. The training focused on modern techniques and strategies for crafting a variety of bamboo products, including baskets, grates, pans, and dust bins. Upon completion, the women were provided with essential tools and resources to start their own bamboo-related product manufacturing businesses, enabling them to earn substantial incomes and achieve financial independence.
